Ashley and Bill - December 1, 2012

Ashley and Bill were married in Saratoga on December 1, 2012.  Their ceremony took place at the Christ Episcopal Church and their reception was at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs' Congress Park.  I had the distinct honor and privilege of working with Ashley and Bill as their wedding planner which meant I got to go on this amazing planning journey with them.  They live out of state so all of the work was done long distance, but with a bride with this much style and confidence it was a piece of cake to put all of these delicious details together for them.

From the designer gown to the exotic flowers to the bright little clementines, Ashley had a super creative vision for her wedding that could easily rival the concepts of most high end event designers.  She chose a color palette of pinks, corals, and oranges, and balanced their brightness with grays and fun patterns.  There was a beautiful chevron pattern carried through the event from the flower girls' skirts to the napkins on the head table.  Ashley chose a gunmetal sequin table cloth for some of the guest tables, and even used a section of wallpaper for the runner down the head table.  The blend of colors and patterns in the room was just gorgeous.  And the flowers for this wedding were just divine!  The girls' bouquets were gorgeous and the centerpieces on the tables were beautifully set in white milk glass containers.  There was definitely a lot of swooning going on at this wedding!

Joining me on this event was a star studded team of vendors.  First I have to thank Tracey Buyce for her photography expertise in capturing all of these beautiful images.  And of course I have to give a big shout out to floral designer David Michael Schmidt of Renaissance Floral Design for all of his creative flower and design work.  Catering was provided by Connie and the ever amazing staff at Mazzone Catering, and guests danced their tails off to music played by the NYC band Phase One.  Hair and makeup was done beautifully, as always, by the ladies at Make Me Fabulous, and the gorgeous cake you see below was made by Villa Italia.  I also have to thank Clifton Park Rentals, Premiere Transportation for the guest shuttles, and Advantage Transportation Group for the vintage car the bride and groom rode in from the church to the Casino.

You may have seen in an earlier post that this wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty.  I am so happy to see that everyone loves this wedding as much as I do.

Of course I never would have had the chance to be a part of all of this if it hadn't been for Ashley and Bill finding me way back in 2011.  Thank you so much Ashley and Bill for choosing me as your wedding planner!  You guys are amazing people and I hope to stay connect with you for years and years!!  xoxo

Photos by Bailly Photography

In addition to wedding planning and coordination services, we offer custom design services for bridal stationery and accessories.  Here are examples of the work we did for Sarah and Eddie's wedding this past November.  This couple wanted a sophisticated black and white theme and we achieved a cohesive look in their invitation (above), their custom designed escort board, and the matching table numbers.  If you are looking for design help with your bridal stationery or your escort board and table numbers we are here to help.

Sarah and Ed - November 3, 2012

Sarah and Eddie were married on November 3, 2012.  Their ceremony was in St. Mary's Church in downtown Albany and their reception was held at River Stone Manor in Glenville.  Sarah and Ed met while attending Siena College so having an Albany area wedding was just perfect for them.  They even got a chance to go to their alma mater for some photos which is super fun!  Sarah wore a stunning wedding gown and chose a cathedral length veil with scalloped edges which looked divine together.  I mean you can see here in these photos - she was seriously a super stunning bride!

The couple had a theme of black and white and kept all of their decor elements very elegant and classy.  At their reception they incorporated a lot of personal design details like a candy bar with monogrammed to-go bags, drink stirrers with their initials on them, and a custom made escort board with matching table numbers (board and numbers made by my boyfriend and live-in designer Adam Anson).  The room looked beautiful and all of the soft flower colors and black and white design elements all tied in very well together.

This wedding was so fun for me to plan and coordinate because Sarah and Eddie are amazing together plus they have clear ideas and make quick solid decisions.  It's always nice to work with a couple like that!  I also had the pleasure of spending the day with my best friend and bridesmaid in this wedding, Erin Dewey, and a team of my most favorite vendor friends!  For photography the couple chose Matt and Leah Bailly of Bailly Photography who I always love working with (and sharing an office with!).  Mike Garassi of Music Man Entertainment was their DJ and kept the dance floor packed all night.  Check out some of the great dance shots below - these guys know how to party!  Brian Moak of Moak Films did their videography, Lisa Russell of Central Market Florist did their bouquets and centerpieces, and Alayne Curtiss and her fab team from Make Me Fabulous rocked it on the girls' hair and makeup.  Sarah and Eddie's cake was from Villa Italia, they had harpist Leah Kidwell-Fernandes play for their ceremony, and transportation was provided by Premiere Transportation (bridal party VIP van) and Brown Coach (shuttle buses for the guests).

This wedding was one of my favorite of the year and it's been so fun for me to go through their photos and post this wedding on my blog because it's like being able to relive their perfect day all over again!  Thank you Sarah and Eddie for choosing me as your planner!!
